Speaking & training
Conference speaking and medical training for protection teams.
Talks for security conferences and professional chapters, and medical training for executive protection teams working for corporate programs and private family offices. The material comes from the emergency department, the helicopter and the detail, not from a slide library.
Signature talks
01
Protective medicine: advanced medical capability on a detail
What a protection team can actually do when the principal has a medical emergency, and where most programs run out of capability. Covers the difference between trauma training and medical training, scope of practice on a detail, and what medical direction adds to a program. Built for an audience that runs security rather than practices medicine.
02
Flight physician on a line-of-duty shooting response
A first-person account of a 2013 mountain manhunt in which officers were shot, told from the seat of a sheriff air rescue helicopter. What the medical response looked like, what the terrain and weather took away, and the decisions that had to be made without complete information.

Medical training for executive protection teams
01
Team medical training
Advanced medical training for protection professionals on corporate programs and private family office details. Training is built around what your people are licensed to do and what your principals are actually likely to need, so an EMT and a paramedic on the same detail come away with different skills and the same standing orders.
Certification depends on the engagement. Where a course carries one, it is stated before the training is booked.
02
Tabletop exercises
Half a day working through scenarios your security management picks. Two that come up most often:
How to conduct the medical advance
A medical or traumatic emergency on a movement, step by step, from getting the principal off the X to definitive care
03
Corporate briefings
A shorter session for a corporate audience, usually security leadership plus the travel risk or resilience team. Same material as the conference talks, scaled to a lunch hour and pointed at the programs in the room.
Expert witness
Case review and testimony as a board certified emergency physician with 20+ years of clinical practice and prehospital medical direction. Areas covered:
EMS and prehospital care standard of care
Emergency medicine malpractice
Security program medical negligence
Protocol and scope-of-practice questions
